Jamie Carragher has opened up over an incident that saw him spit at his 14-year-old daughter and a Manchester United fan.
At a movie of the event, that happened in March, the teenage girl’s dad repeatedly mentioned the dent at the game between Manchester United and Liverpool last season and Carragher is heard to say, “Alright”, before appearing to spit at the car alongside his.
When challenged by Lucy Meacock for about how he lives in the limelight together & rsquo lsquo; very intrusive & media, Carragher said: “Yeah, well hear I’m of that.
“The mistake I made, enormous mistake and that I apologised at the time, but that’s the world we live in you understand with media today.
“I guess things are a lot more, they get much more publicity due to the world we live in as rsquo & I . ”
When asked how much of an effect it had on his family and him, Carragher responded: & ldquo; It was large, but listen I & rsquo; m not going to sit here and need sympathy of whatever.
“I made a mistake, I shouldn&rsquo. It was also tough for the people which were involved with it although it had been tough at the time for my family and me.
“I mean rsquo & I wouldn;t need people to think I was that type of person, but in these five or six seconds I had been that type of person.
“I snapped on the way home. ”
