Glasgow head coach Dave Rennie says that he will”certainly” be in the club as he finalises a contract.
The New Zealander, in his second year with the Warriors later succeeding Gregor Townsend, is at the season’s end.
But the 55-year-old said he will remain at Glasgow for”at least another 12 months, put it that way”.
“We’ve pretty much sorted everything. It’s just a case of sorting the paperwork out today,” he told reporters.
“From a contracting point of view with all the players, everybody wants clarity about what things will look like next year, thus the reason we’ve been keen to get things sorted.
We’ve been in talks for quite a very long time.
“I am really enjoying it here. As I’ve mentioned many times in the past, they’re good people so I am keen to stay longer.”

Rennie has to deal with a host of players coming together with Huw Jones this past week linked with a move to Leicester Tigers.
Rennie is convinced fly-half Adam Hastings will remain following a breakthrough season at Scotstoun, although scotland begin Stuart Hogg has already confirmed he will join Exeter.
“There are a number of guys who have offers in front of them,” he added. “There are the odd man departing. But all I will say is that we are keen to maintain Adam here and He’s keen to remain,”
