The 21-year-old, that joined the club #97m from Borussia Dortmund summer, was not included in the squad for Barca’s 4-3 defeat to Real Betis on Sunday after not turning up to training throughout the week due to a stomach bug.
He was \omitted in the group in October after turning up late for a team meeting at home\.
After the Betis conquer, Gerard Pique affirmed Dembele but he had help to”understand that soccer is a 24-hour task and he must live accordingly” and Segura admitted the World Cup winner was adapting to life in Catalonia and to the Barcelona manner of playingwith.
“There’s no problem using Dembele,” Segura told Cadena Ser.
“It’s a normal position for a young player with a lot of talent who has arrived at a club as large as Barca, full of amazing players. He had never experienced that before and there is an adaptation process that he has to go through.
“He is really young and he’s never had to wake up to adapt into a playing style just like ours. We acknowledge he is finding it hard. He also recognises that. What we are doing is working as hard as possible so that he can adapt in the greatest way that is possible.
“It’s true I had a meeting with all the agents of Dembele. But yesterday I had three meetings with three representatives. My job is to meet with agents, they are typical things.”
For Segura although Dembele ignored the possibility that he might leave the bar, newspaper reports have connected Liverpool with a movement.
“As of today we have no supplies for Dembele and we haven’t any plans to alter the construction of this squad,” he said.
