It took 14 years, but Tito Ortiz eventually got his revenge.

Ortiz crushed Chuck Liddell via first-round knockout to win the trilogy struggle between both old-school rivals and Hall of Famers on Saturday night at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif.. The grudge game headlined Oscar de la Hoya and ’ first foray into mixed martial arts, also likely signaled the end of the road for Liddell and Ortiz, two legends of the game who came out of retirement to compete in the pay-per-view bout.
