TORONTO — The Raptors announced that guard Kay Felder, who had been playing for the team’s G League affiliate, has been published following his arrest on a charge of domestic violence Monday morning.

Monday afternoon, raptors 905 published a statement:

“On Monday, Dec. 3, 2018, Raptors 905 shield Kay Felder was charged by authorities in connection with an allegation of domestic violence. As this matter is before the courts, Raptors 905 will not comment further.”

Felder, 23, was averaging 18.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 6.5 assists in 11 matches for Raptors 905 this season.

The Cleveland Cavaliers paid $2.4 million to obtain Felder, a 5-foot-9 point guard, by the Atlanta Hawks after they had selected him late in the next round of this 2016 NBA draft. Ever since that time, Felder has played in 58 games with the Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons, averaging 3.8 points and 1.3 assists per game.

TMZ first reported the news of the arrest of Felder.
