Philadelphia 76ers guard Markelle Fultz is expected to overlook an approximate assortment of three to six weeks to undergo rehab on his shoulder, league sources told on Tuesday.

Fultz, the No 1 overall pick from the 2017 draft, was diagnosed with Throracic Outlet Syndrome, his attorney/agent and the 76ers stated Tuesday.

The condition will be treated with physical therapy.

On the help of Brothers, Fultz seen with several pros over the previous week, consultations that resulted with them bringing this diagnosis back to the organization. Brothers told that the affecting of”nerves between the neck and shoulder” resulted in an”abnormal functional movement and range of motion,” and that”severely [limited] ’s capacity to shoot a basketball.”

The 20-year-old Fultz has observed more than 10 pros in the past year, past his maintenance with the 76ers training team.

Brothers informed the Sixers on Nov. 21 that Fultz would seek additional opinions on his shoulder before a return to the court — a conclusion that the organization has left to Fultz and his management team.

Fultz has lost the capability to execute and follow through on long jump shots, and there’s been external and internal argument about just how much of the vexing circumstance is physical .

Before Fultz stepped away on Nov. 21, it appeared backup protector T.J. McConnell will be carrying a vast majority of Fultz’s moments.
