AC Milan have been in talks with Zlatan Ibrahimovic over a loan from LA Galaxy but the deal has simply collapsed, the club’s sporting director Leonardo continues to be verified.

The 37-year-old scored greater than 50 goals for Milan in two seasons and helped them win the 2011 Serie A name but will not make a return to Italy\.

“He gave his word to Galaxy that he’d stay if they met his conditions, and they did thus,” Leonardo said.

“It could have been a really lovely story since it might have contributed a substantial weight to the team.

“We can not deny that both parties thought about it, but it won’t be possible.”

Milan was optimistic of securing a loan similar to the deal that has been reached between the nightclubs in 2009 to get David Beckham – despite Ibrahimovic judgment out a January move to Europe at November.

He has become a fan favourite from the MLS, since joining from Manchester United, with scored 22 goals in 27 appearances.

Los Angeles’ period ended in the 2019 MLS season along with October does not begin until March, although Milan are fourth in Serie A having scored in their last four matches that are top-flight.
