England along with Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho has revealed Neymar is his present footballing idol, praising the forward’s”individuality”.
Sancho, who has six goals and eight assists in Dortmund this year, was backed to blossom into England’s”Neymar-type” figure by his former youth coach in September
Since then, the 18-year-old has hammered his way into the aspect of Gareth Southgate – getting the first player born after 2000 to get an England call-up and going on to record his first aid\.
Sancho told that the press that he was able to see movies of Ronaldinho about YouTube growing up as a kid, but it seems \he looks around a different Brazilian.
In an interview with an Mirror, he said:”Growing up, my favourite player was Ronaldinho. That speaks for itself, really\. He had been constantly and such a great player played with a grin.
“Now it is Neymar, since he’s only different. He takes the mickey out of individuals. Clearly it is not good but he’s just being himselfhe’s expressing himself and that is loved by me. People are \not about doing exactly what he can, scared, but they simply would not do the things he is doing\.
“I just think when you’re different you stand out more and also I enjoy when people stand out as it is something different, an identity on the pitch which you just don’t see daily.”
