Cristiano Ronaldo says he was disappointed not to win the Ballon d’Or and maintained that the”numbers don’t lie” after being crushed into the award by Luka Modric.
The 33-year-old, that joined Juventus in the summer for a charge in the area of 105m, ended second in the voting supporting his former Real Madrid team-mate.
Ronaldo has won the award five times the very same as Barcelona Lionel Messi forward, and picked up the trophy in 2016 and 2017.

Ronaldo has scored 11 goals in all competitions this year for Juventus, bringing his career total.
