Cristiano Ronaldo says he was disappointed not to win the Ballon d’Or and maintained the”numbers do not lie” after being beaten to the award by Luka Modric.
The 33-year-old, that joined Juventus in the summer for a charge in the area of #105m, ended second in the voting behind his former Real Madrid team-mate.
Ronaldo picked up the prize at 2016 and 2017, and has won the award five times , the exact very same as Barcelona forward Lionel Messi.
