Gloucestershire have long batsman George Hankins’ contract to this 2021 season’s finish.
He was the club’s top run-scorer in this season’s Royal London One-Day Cup, together with 291 runs in a mean of 58.20.
“I’m thrilled to have extended my contract,” that the 21-year-old said.
“I’m very eager to participate in this talented group of players and coaching staff and firmly believe we have a wonderful possibility to bring some silverware back to our club”
Head coach Richard Dawson said:”It’s great news that George has expanded his contract with Gloucestershire.
“He’s continued to develop over the previous seasons and I’m thrilled that he can continue to progress with us.”
Hankins is something of the academy of Gloucestershire and signed up his first professional contract.
His performances made him a Call up to play for an ECB XI against India A in a contest at Edgbaston.
But, his season has been completed in July by way of a knee injury.
