Maurizio Sarri believes Callum Hudson-Odoi isn’t ready to play in the Europa League despite magnificent from the Premier League.
Hudson-Odoi, 18, starred for Chelsea because they beat 10-man PAOK offering an aid for Alvaro Morata and scoring his first goal.
The youngster impressed \in pre-season under Sarri and was handed a beginning in the Community Shield but has not featured at the Premier League. This was his first start since the defeat to Manchester City in Wembley.
Sarri wasn’t getting removed\.
“I really don’t understand if Hudson-Odoi is ready for the Premier League in 18, notably in a big team,” he said.
“If he’s good enough to perform in a big team in the Premier League in 18 then he could be the best player in Europe in two years.
“I really think he played very well but the kind of match was for his features as they had 10 guys following seven minutes. We just had to play in the offensive phase, he is very capable to do so but I want to see him in a match when he has to play at a defensive phase.”

“I believe we approached the game quite well, so I am quite happy with this,” Sarri explained.
“The last 3 games we had difficulties with this. This was really quite excellent. Before the game we understood were in the first of their bunch after the BATE result, so it was not easy to find a big motivation.”
