Manchester City have agreed to sign usa goalkeeper Zack Steffen, a bargain his MLS club Columbus Crew referred to as a”historic transfer”.
The 23-year-old will combine City at July 20-19 on a four-year deal for pound & about;7m and will stick with the Crew for the very first part of this MLS season, which starts in March.
Steffen has six international limits and could be your United States number one.
City clarified Steffen as”one of their outstanding talents in America”.
Crew reported the transport fee could be the most ever for an MLS goalkeeper at the 23-year heritage of the league and the greatest in their own history.
After keeping 10 clean sheets steffen was declared the MLS Goalkeeper of the Year 2018.
“This really is a historic transaction for your own club and also a unique moment for Zack Steffen we are tremendously happy with,” said Crew interim general manager Pat Onstad.
Steffen said the move was a”special moment” due to him personally.
