Seattle Seahawks linebacker Mychal Kendricks struck his tibia Monday night and is now going for the summer, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Kendricks started in Monday’s 21-7 victory over the Minnesota Vikings instead of the injured K.J. Wright (knee) later serving an eight-game suspension originating from his guilty plea to baseball charges.

He is scheduled to be sentenced in January and faces as much as 25 years .

The Cleveland Browns released Kendricks after he was charged and he signed up with the Seahawks in September. The NFL originally suspended Kendricks indefinitely nevertheless announced an eight-game suspension.

He completes his 2018 season with 20 tackles just two sacks and a pass defensed in four different games with Seattle.

He played his first six season with all the Philadelphia Eagles however has been released in May.
