Farmer (27-4-1, 6 KOs), also a native of Philadelphia, PA, will soon probably be making the next defense of his title against former world title challenger Francisco Fonseca (22-1-1, 16 KOs), of San Ramon, Costa Rica, at an 12-round battle on the undercard of this Canelo Alvarez-Rocky Fielding Super Middleweight Title bout at Madison Square Garden and live on DAZN.

Rounding from the significant weekend for DBE at Ponferrada, Spain, highly considered junior lightweight potential Jon “JonFer” Fernandez (16-1, 14 KOs) returns to actions against Michel Marcano (17-1-1, 14 KOs), of Barcelona, Venezuela, at an undercover eight-rounder.

Fernandez, 23, who has been a fixture in addition to prospect lists, will soon be making his first start since falling a choice to O’Shaquie Foster on September 2 1, at a bout aired on Showtime.
