Because the team continues to await their new stadium to be prepared, tottenham’s home game against Manchester United on 13 January is likely to probably soon be at Wembley.

Spurs were expected to move into the brand newest White Hart Lane stadium in September, however, the project has sustained lots of construction delays.

The team initially agreed to keep on playing until the end of the year at Wembley.

In November, they were told that they might play there indefinitely.

“We’re conscious that we’re requesting fans to go to Wembley for much more than some people wanted to,” claimed Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.

“But we’re seeing the progress that we had to see”

He added:”What I don’t want to do would be establish some firm dates until we’ve finally achieved a safety certification “

An upgrade from the contractors is expected from the week beginning 7.

In an announcement, the team said:”Testing will be conducted both during the daytime and night, and also our contractors will continue to work during the Christmas period. Barring no more significant problems we should subsequently take a position to schedule test events”
