“It’s a massive blow because he’s been playing with some terrific rugby for us, not only for us for Wales, he’s an excellent player and he’s definitely going to be overlooked,” explained Davis.
Hook adds expertise
Ospreys’ starting XV that is much-changed still includes 10 Wales internationals.
“There is a few alterations but we’ll still require a solid team out there, though we expect a backlash out of their website after shipping 50 points,” explained Wales usefulness straight back Hook, that has been relied on because of his experience within an much-changed squad.
“I am savouring every chance I get at the present time , I played quite a bit when I had been with Perpignan also it’s really a wonderful chance for us to express ourselves.
“It’s a scene that looks like a bird’s nest, it’s very different from the outside, but like many French clubs it’ll be loud inside and a chance for the boys to see something different.”
Defence trainer Davis has said there’s”no truth” in reports linking him with no role at fighting Leicester Tigers, although he has gone out of contract with Ospreys at the end of 2018 19.
