Newcastle flanker John Hardie will face his Edinburgh team-mates on Sunday as a member of 1 1 changes for the return Champions Cup pool fixture.
England back-rower Mark Wilson and number eight Nemani Nagusa return in a much-changed package.
Wings Vereniki Goneva, Fly Half Toby Flood along with Sinoti Sinoti, center Johnny Williams and full-back Simon Hammersley all come into the backline.
Edinburgh bring in Allan Dell at Luke Hamilton along with loose-head at Blind Side.
Dell takes over while Hamilton replenishes, from Pierre Schoeman, who drops to the bench.
The Falcons also bring Trevor Davison and Kyle Cooper with Calum Green, in their row.
Edinburgh, after winning the fixture past Friday, lead Pool 5 by three points out of Newcastle at the halfway point.
Falcons director of rugby Dean Richards wasn’t able to field a front-line tight-head prop a week amid an accident catastrophe, but considers Sunday”is going to soon be another thing altogether”.
“We will need to be considered a little more true in specific regions of our match, which we’re taking a look at, and we just played about half of our drama sheet each week,” he added.
“That means we have a reasonable bit in book which Edinburgh won’t have seen, but it’s all about getting that triumph and being very ruthless in terms of the way we implement our game plan.
“When it means that a dogged approach on the afternoon so be it”
Edinburgh head coach Richard Cockerill says his side have”everything to play “.
“Newcastle is likely to soon be a whole great deal stronger and clearly damaging from the situation last weekend, in addition to the result,” he added.
“However, we’ve just go to keep concentrating on what we’re carrying out. We are aware that if we get it right, we can beat on them. They had a great deal of players playing last weekend and so they have some decent players coming back on this week.
“We’ve only got to leave our best game on the area.”
