Glasgow hooker Fraser Brown could miss the first two games of Scotland’s Six Nations effort.

Brown is defined to be sidelined with a knee injury sustained in Warriors’ European Champions Cup triumph in Lyon last weekend.

The 29-year-old, with 38 caps, arrived from another two for Edinburgh’s Stuart McInally and started two of Scotland’s four fall Tests.

Scotland open their Six Nations campaign in the home to Italy and Ireland.

The timescale place for the recovery of Brown means he could overlook both of the, and their third game, away to France on 2-3 February.

He’ll also skip the three pool games of Glasgow’s Champions Cup effort, starting with Saturday’s home game with Lyon, as well the Pro14 double header with Edinburgh within the period.
