Pots for Women’s World-championship 20-19 Play-off draw confirmed
The road to the ladies & rsquo; s World Championship 20-19 is entering its last stretch, while all eyes have been still available on the ladies & rsquo; s EHF EURO 2018 in France.
The finals championship in Japan, which takes place from 29 November to 15 December 20-19, will feature 24 teams – and five of them have been already supported: Japan since the host nation and France because the defending winners, as well holland, Romania and Russia since the three best-ranked and not already qualified teams at the EHF EURO.
It leaves room to produce the visit to Japan next season as Europe was allocated 12 slots, which do not comprise France because the winners. Those teams will be determined through ties, which can soon be played May and June 20-19.
The draw for the play-offs of the European heritage will probably be conducted on Saturday 15 December at 16:30 CET at the AccorHotels Arena in Paris, on the sidelines of their EHF EURO. The draw is going to probably be streamed live on the official site of their Women’s EHF EURO 2018.
The following teams have qualified to the Playoff through the EHF EURO: Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Spain, Germany, Hungary, Montenegro, Norway, Poland, Slovenia, Serbia and Sweden, and Austria as the Secondbest third-ranked team by the EHF EURO 2018 Qualifiers.
Five teams have left their way into the playoffs trough Qualifications Phase 1: Belarus, FYR Macedonia, Slovakia and Switzerland as category winners, as well as Iceland as the team that was best.

Each team from pot inch will probably be drawn against a team with the teams drawn having home right in the leg, from pot two. The matches will be played between 31 May and 2 June (first leg) and between 6 and 4 June (second leg) respectively.
The nine winners join the five qualified teams from Europe at the World Championship in Japan.
