KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Patrick Mahomes was no hurry on his own 5-yard, first-quarter touchdown pass to Demarcus Robinson.

Mahomes held on, held , held on and seemed pleased to throw the ball before Robinson came free and Mahomes made him the ball.

As stated by NFL Next Gen Stats, Mahomes required 6.17 seconds to throw TD. It is the the second-longest amount of time he’s chosen to throw a touchdown this season, trailing just his 7.24-second TD to Chris Conley in Week 3 against the 49ers. Mahomes is among two QBs with multiple death touchdowns that required over 6 seconds to throw, together side Deshaun Watson (three TDs).
