NEWS: Europe’s rsquo top guys &;s club competitions will be performed from the start of 2020/21 season; rsquo & women;s competitions including EHF Champions League

December Hand ball fans will know when to tune into watch their club playing at European club handball action thanks to a decision.

Finding a slot on television channels across Europe for top-class hand ball has been an objective for many years and thanks to the EHF and EHF Marketing’s new venture with Infront along with DAZN Group, it is to turn into a reality.

From the beginning of the 2020/21 season, the males & rsquo; s EHF Champions League with 16 teams will be played Thursday and Wednesday evenings at all areas across Europe.

The guys ’s European Handball League will be played using an option for selected matches.

All women’s competitions including the Women’s EHF Champions League and European Hand Ball League will be performed at times on Sundays and Saturdays.

The new degree — EHF Cup involving semiprofessional or non-professional teams will be played at the weekend.
Following extensive discussions with EHF stakeholders including clubs, players and leagues in addition to with company partners, Infront and DAZN, the proposals were presented to the EHF Executive for a last decision.

The change means not an ‘appointment to see ’ weekly for fans but also better scheduling alternatives for television partners later on, without the overlap men’s and women’s top rivals later on.
