On Saturday, Bellator MMA was straight back at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center in Honolulu, Hawaii for the second event of a doubleheader weekend.  Women’s champion Ilima-Lei Macfarlane kept her title before a hometown crowd. 

Veteran Valerie Letourneau was conquered by macfarlane by submission.  After a slow beginning, Macfarlane secured an early takedown.  Before proceeding to a arm bar, she shot Letourneau & rsquo; back and functioned to lock.  She subsequently transitioned forcing Letourneau to tapout. 

At the function, former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida made his introduction against Rafael Carvalho.  As he was pressured by Carvalho, machida stayed elusive during the first two frames.  Machida utilized his wrestling ability that was underrated to take Carvalho to make a split decision victory.
