Edson Barboza returned into the win column in impressive fashion in UFC on FOX 31, stopping Dan Hooker with less than three minutes left to the clock at the 3rd round Saturday night at in Milwaukee, but UFC president Dana White believes the bout shouldn’t’ve lasted that long.

At the 2:19 mark, Barboza landed a left hook to the body that fell Hooker, forcing Rob Hinds to stop the lightweight contest.

In a meeting with FOX after the case, White praised Hooker’s endurance, saying crutches were denied by the brand new Zealand-native and help walk off following the fight, and was stricken with the loss that snapped his four-fight winning streak lightweight.
