As the hosts closed in on victory australia captain Tim Paine and India Counter-part Virat Kohli clashed on day four of the second Test in Perth.

Paine was batting if the two exchanged words umpire Chris Gaffaney had to measure in at one point.

During India’s 2nd innings, keeper Paine, speaking to Murali Vijay, said:“I understand he is your captain however, you can not seriously like him as a bloke.”

Gaffaney: “Tim you’re the captain”

Paine: “Maintain your trendy, Virat!”

Kohli responded with a wry grin.
