After a week of tumult, the Minnesota Vikings won Sunday and coach Mike Zimmer obtained a vote of confidence from your group owner.

“We’re very happy with the coach and the whole coaching team,” Vikings owner Zygi Wilf told the Pioneer Press (St. Paul) after a 41-17 triumph within the Miami Dolphins retained Minnesota (7-6-1) at the playoff hunt.

Wilf included:”It is great to be in this position in December, that’s without a doubt. I’m pleased concerning that we were as a team we awakened and answered any questions. I think we showed we’re certainly one of the most useful and will beat anyone on any given day.”

Last Tuesday, the Vikings fired yearlong offensive coordinator John DeFilippo following a Monday night loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

Quarterbacks coach Kevin Stefanski was encouraged to replace DeFilippo on an interim basis. On Sunday, his debut for a playcaller triggered Minnesota output of the summer growing season.
