Worcester Warriors’ Scotland international stand-off Duncan Weir is now signed a fresh contract extension using the Premiership club.
27, weir, arrived in summer time on only a deal from Edinburgh, but is now tied until 2021 to Sixways.
“He’s been an integral player for us this season and has given the team real leadership. Along with also his kicking was brilliant.”
Before moving to Edinburgh in 22, weir began his career.
“I have enjoyed pulling on the Warriors top,” he explained. “All the lads welcomed me with open arms once I arrived in summer time and I have felt at home from day one.
“My aim now is to simply help us get some more wins and keep pushing the Premiership table”
Worcester are ninth in the Premiership – 2 points off the bottom, but only seven points off a top-four place, in a few of the very competitive seasons as the professional era began.
