Nurse led his ire in officials for not calling fouls made against star Kawhi Leonard. He had been particularly alarmed that Leonard had just four free throws in the 95-86 loss despite the work around the rim of Leonard.

“Tonight was a very intense case of a guy who had been playing great, carrying it to the rim, and just definitely getting held, captured, poked, slapped, hit and everything. And they refused to telephone any of it,” Nurse told reporters after Sunday’s game. “It was incredible to me personally. You can’t tell me a few of those better players within the league takes only a hundred strikes in that game and shoots four free throws.”

“It is ridiculous,” Id included. “The guy is among the better players in the league. He does not complain. They simply turn their head and also go another way. It has been going on all year”

The fine has been announced by NBA executive vice president of basketball operations Kiki VanDeWeghe.
