Washington Redskins safety Montae Nicholson was detained early Tuesday morning after he and a lady company attacked another bunch, as shown by a Loudoun County authorities report.

Nicholson being drunk in public areas and was charged with battery and assault. He had been hauled to a $2,500 secured bond. His company, Sydney Maggiore, has been charged with malicious wounding and assault and battery life.

In accordance with the report, the deputies responded to reports about a fight in Ashburn, Virginia — moments from the Redskins’ practice facility. Both alleged victims had been on the scene when deputies arrived. The report states that”an investigation determined the male defendant assaulted the male victim, and the female defendant struck the female victim having a bottle plus also assaulted the male victim”

The report also says one of the victims maintained the altercation occurred after the”suspects pulled up at a vehicle and honked the horn in them” Nicholson and Maggiore came back to the scene after deputies arrived. Both alleged victims were treated in a community hospital.

Redskins senior vice president of communications Tony Wyllie said in a statement:”We’re aware of the arrest of Montae Nicholson. We’re collecting extra information and won’t comment until we have further specifics “

If they promised linebacker Reuben Foster off waivers later he had been arrested for domestic violence and subsequently released by the San Francisco 49ers, the Redskins attracted attention. They also handled a controversy stemming out of an exclusive Insta-gram chat between linebacker Mason Foster in which vulgar language has been used. Foster claimed a number of the statements were his most but the remainder were out of his cousin.

A fourth-round pick in 2017, nicholson, started the first seven matches for Washington in 2013. However he also lost his starting job If the Redskins acquired Ha Ha Clinton-Dix from the Green Bay Packers. Nicholson has played with a combined 2-2 snaps out of scrimmage, with not one in the last four and only four at the last six matches, since Clinton Dix came.

Washington (77 ) snapped a four-game losing streak in Jacksonville on Sunday and remains living in the playoff race. The Redskins play at Tennessee on Saturday.
