The Californian place issued a statement in November to say that WSBK wouldn’t normally race in North America at all in 2019, and a subsequent provisional calendar had the track missing out of the typical mid-July slot.

South African track Kyalami has been poised to fulfill this gap and host a WSBK round for the first time in just a decade.

The rest of the schedule remains unchanged, with the season on February 22-24 launching and Qatar hosting the finale on October 24-26.
