Kent Kauppinen’s huge mad triumph over Alessio Sakara at Bellator 21-1 has paid off in a significant way, with the British middle weight being rewarded using a multi-fight deal by the company.

Bellator affirmed the signing up to MMA Fighting.

Kauppinen (11-4-0) went in to the main event conflict using all the UFC veteran on a two-fight skid.

A little over one-minute in to the competition, Kauppinen caught “Legionarius” with a crisp left hand which separated his out of his perceptions.

“The Hammerhorn” proceeded into the Genoa mainevent on the rear of a beat in his promotional introduction after suffering a second-round submission loss to Water Gahadza at Bellator 200. Ahead of his Bellator introduction, he had been submitted by fellow newly-signed Bellator middle-weight, Fabian Edwards, from the dying embers of the first round of his battle, after falling the blue chip prospect with the right hand.
