On Thursday afternoon, Winn (5-0), an former collegiate All-American wrestler, chose to Twitter to declare he had put ink to paper on a UFC contract.

This not only maintained his perfect record in tact, but also declared his first bout to accomplish the judge’s scorecard.

The American Kickboxing Academy product formerly made four direct stoppages in various promotions, including a first-round TKO win over Ahmed White at Bellator 1-99 .

Prior to this particular performance, Winn had told MMAFighting he had been struggling to find fights in the regional landscape.

“some guy like me, along with my wrestling credentials, at first I had been merely getting competitions off ‘Oh maybe he merely only knows how to wrestle and they could ’t fight nonetheless,’” said Winn. “However, I’m 4-0 with four first-round endings. So, now it’s even harder for me to get fights. The previous guy I fought, I knocked from the feet. Now theyrsquo;re scared of matters. ”

There is currently no word on if Winn can create his promotional debut.
