The Wizards are waiving Okaro White.

Baker, who signed up a $8.9 million agreement with all the Knicks prior to the 20 17 season, was released on Thursday to make room for newcomer Allonzo Trier, who’d been on a two-way contract.

“This is the hardest one I’ve ever been a part of,” Knicks coach David Fizdale said last week. “Cutting Ron Baker was really demanding. I talked to him now. He had been great. He’s Ron Baker. He’s an expert. He totally knew where we’re. Clearly it goes without saying we’re resources to him. If anybody calls me I’ll have only incredible what to say about him. I even joked to him a little bit when he’s finally done, spend some time with me and that I might have a trainer on my hands there.”

Baker, who left the Knicks in 20-16 being a undrafted rookie from Wichita State, looked in 92 games (14 starts) over three seasons with the team.

He had been averaging only 1.3 points and 9.7 moments in 11 matches this season.
