Friday night the scheduled Irish Premiership Game between Newry City and Glentoran at the Newry Showgrounds Was postponed.
The Northern Ireland Football League said that the match was called off as a result of”a severe traffic incident involving the match officials”.
The incident on the Warrenpoint Road entailed acar in which four match officials were still also traveling.
A NIFL spokesperson confirmed that two officials were taken to hospital.
The match was due to occur at Newry Showgrounds at 19:45 GMT and also NIFL affirmed the postponement just before 19:00 GMT.
Both Glentoran and also Newry City delivered their best wishes to the match officials included.
