There is assurance that Chris Paul‘s left hamstring strain will only cost him two-to-three weeks outside of this Houston Rockets lineup, league sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski on Friday.

Paul had been ruled out forever after suffering the trauma Thursday night’s 101-99 loss to the Miami Heat, in accordance with trainer Mike D’Antoni.

Morning, paul was to experience an MRI on Friday.

Paul played with 12 minutes and also had four points before exiting with 6:43 left in the quarter and the Rockets.

The accident came on a relatively innocuous-looking play. This has been the moment when Paul grabbed the back of his left leg, then the telltale sign of a hamstring issue.

He travelled directly to the Houston locker space, never returned and was dressed and gone until the room opened after the game.

Paul has missed period because of hamstring injuries in five occasions throughout his career and also a total of 19 matches (including the playoffs), with his teams moving 9 10, according to ESPN Stats & Information.

The Associated Press contributed to the report.
