NEWS REPORT: Deadly international Thea Mørk, twin sister of Györ star Nora Mørk has found it necessary to finish her career because of injury. Her career stop leaves the Norwegian national team also, particularly, Danish champions Kobenhavn hand ball, with serious issue.
At the time of only 27 years, the left wing by Kobenhavn hand ball and the former federal team has found it necessary to call it daily.
Too many injuries have driven to help make the tough choice.
“It feels exceptionally depressed right not, however I feel I am at the conclusion. I merely cannot cope ,” says The Mørk who played a few minutes to get Norway at the new EHF EURO 2018 at France before being wounded again.
Norway’s national trainer Thorir Hergeirsson regrets losing The Mørk.
“I have understood for a little while, however I still feel very depressed. She was haunted by injury almost all of her junior and senior career, and she never gets the opportunity to actually show what qualities live in her. However, when her entire body says stop, I will only have huge respect on her decision,” says Hergeirsoon.
First and final season in Copenhagen
Thea Mørk’s instantaneous career stop leaves her team, Kobenhavn hand ball with serious issues.
The Danish champions, who have just qualified for the Women’s EHF Champions League Main Roundhave one injury over the leftwing posture, as Swedish novice Maria Wall is now recovering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
“it’s a loss to us to be missing Thea. She is a great player and also a wonderful girl, and we clearly wish her all the finest at the foreseeable long term,” says head trainer Claus Mogensen.
Thea Mørk played nine seasons at the European top-flight and eight seasons with Larvik she joined Kobenhavn last summer. Altogether, she scored 157 aims at the EHF Champions League.
The Mørk’s twin sister, Nora, now, the ideal rear of Györi Audi ETO KC is hoping to come back from another severe knee injury.
