CHARLOTTE — Maybe the Atlanta Falcons needs to used punter Matt Bosher on defense this season.

Bosher had arguably the best handle of 2018, at least to the Falcons, when he threw Carolina Panthers returner Kenjon Barner into the ground in the first half Sunday to a kick off. Bosher showed perfect handling shape and even bent after placing Barner on his back.

The play brought three legged to the helmet in Bosher’s teammate, Marvin Hall. Barner looked like he did not know what hit him.

Bosher probably deserves a game ball regardless of the final outcome. He epitomized the fast and physical style his trainer, Dan Quinn, always preaches.
