Whether it’s Nevada or California, alexander-gustafsson is still pumped to be getting the next shot Jon Jones.

“The Mauler” will probably re match Jones as scheduled because of their light heavyweight championship main event at UFC 232 raced into a slight speedbump. On Sunday, it was reported that the Nevada State Athletic Commission wouldn’t normally be devoting a permit for Jones to struggle Gustafsson at lasvegas as was originally planned, therefore UFC officials chose to go the big event at the last-second to la where California State Athletic Commission executive officer Andy Foster says Jones has been cleared compete.

This could be the latest in a string of drug-related issues for Jones, who received suspensions at 2016 and 2017 after testing positive for prohibited substances. This most recent episode has been chalked up to and including drug-testing abnormality based on a trace number associated with the same substance Jones tested positive for at July 2017, that was enough of a discovery to the NSAC to rule Jones out of fighting in Nevada before he appears before the commission for a hearing next month.

Jones’s group lately dropped a proposition by the CSAC to experience further testing with all the Voluntary Anti-Doping Agency before his bout in UFC 232 and Gustafsson used as a talking point in his reaction to Sunday’s news:

Gustafsson, who has 14 wins by knock out or entry, also vowed he will finish Jones on Saturday no matter what Jones gets in his system.

“Now all of us understand just why you didn’t even simply take the [VADA] test! ” Gustafsson composed. “you will be on rocket fuel, [I’m] still gont complete you, Jon! ”

The Swede phoning his shot not impressed jones:

This will probably soon be Gustafsson’s instant opportunity to defeat Jones and his third crack at a UFC light heavyweight title. Back in UFC 165 at September 2013, Gustafsson proceeded five rounds with Jones, then a champion at 205 lbs, also lost a unanimous decision within an back and forth warfare that’s widely regarded among the most significant battles in MMA history.
