Former Manchester City forward Robinho has Decided to Unite Turkish Super Lig leaders Istanbul Basaksehir.

The 34-year-old, who headed the British transfer record when linking City out of Real Madrid pound & for;32.5m 2008, arrives in fellow Turkish team Sivasspor.

He’ll join former City Team Mate Emmanuel Adebayor at Basaksehir, and Gael Clichy, who played at the Etihad Stadium later Robinho abandoned This Year.

Basaksehir were pumped from their Europa League by Burnley in August.

Robinho, who began his career from his native Brazil using Santos, spent five years with AC Milan after leaving City, before playing China for Guangzhou Evergrande and coming back to his home country to join Atletico Mineiro.

Back in November 2017, he was sentenced in his absence by an Italian court to eight years in prison after being convicted, and five additional Brazilians, of the 2013 gangrape of an unmarried girl in a Milan nightclub.

Robinho, who pleaded not guilty by his lawyer during the event and later published an Insta-gram article denying any wrongdoing, said he would contest the sentence.
