Bristol Bears straight back Steven Luatua has signed a new contract extension, keeping him until 2021 with the Premiership club.
The 27-year-old has made 23 appearances and combined the club from Super Rugby side Blues for the 2017 18 season.
“it is a chance to commit my long run – it’s a breeding ground that’s getting the very best of out of me,” Luatua stated.
“There is huge dream in the club to keep progressing and getting better, I am excited to be a part of that.”
Newzealand international Luatua worked at Blues with head coach Pat Lam during his time and has won 15 caps for New Zealand.
“Steve can be a critical character for us, off and on the subject. His sway around the practice ground and his performances on the field have earned him the honor of both players, team and fans,” Lam said.
“hammering his commitment at this stage underlines the fact we now have within the club about what we can achieve. We’re excited about seeing Steve continue to induce our progress towards our vision.”
