Asked about Norman by terrorists Friday, Lewan said,”I moved and said something to him on his sideline after this match. Could it be disrespectful? Yes. Could it be designed to be disrespectful? Yes.”
Lewan included:”If he has a issue with this, man, I ai not worried. Wolves don’t care about the remarks of sheep.”
The dispute arose once Lewan accused Norman of attempting to hurt Titans running back Derrick Henry later Henry was tackled in the fourth quarter of Saturday’s match. Lewan went on to Washington’s bench where Norman was sitting and confronted . Norman jumped and pulled his helmet at the veteran offensive lineman, that reacted by making a bow and arrow gesture . (The gesture can be used by Norman to celebrate after big plays.)
The two were split before the dispute escalated. Norman refused to speak to the media after the match, but spoke about the episode earlier this week, predicting Lewan’s actions”maximum sympathy.”
“We are not needing it. We won’t tolerate disrespect. That has been the greatest disrespect.
For his role, Henry said after the match he was just focused on getting positive lawns and maybe not what Norman could have been trying to do.
“Whatever he was trying to complete, he was trying to complete,” Henry said. “I don’t think he was trying to do that. However, if he was, it didn’t get the job done .”
