SALT LAKE CITY — Utah Jazz buffs, still bitter about last season’s Rookie of the Year award that Ben Simmons acquired on Donovan Mitchell, began booing the Philadelphia 76ers celebrity during pregame introductions and lasted every time he touched the ball for most of Thursday night’s match.
However, the booing faded at the fourth quarter, also fans rather were gearing for the Vivint Smart Home Arena exits, as Philadelphia placed the finishing touches onto a 114-97 triumph that comprised the 17th triple double of Simmons’ young livelihood.
