Charlie Edwards has turned his thoughts into unification bouts after seizing the WBC world flyweight title with a master class against Cristofer Rosales.

Even the Surrey star (14-1-KO6) got a wide points victory within the highly-rated Nicaraguan at London’s O-2 on December 22 but as opposed to delight in the beauty of the famed green belt, Edwards is thinking of the alternative towards complete domination.

It’s left me hungry. I want to combine the division and construct a heritage. The effort does start today. It’s hard getting there however it’s much harder staying there so I’m completely centered on exactly what ’s next.

“I don’t even believe any different. I’m attempting to achieve a childhood dream but I don’t think it’ll sink in until after my livelihood ’s done because I’m the type of fighter that always believes about exactly what ’s next.

“I’t never experienced mega-celebration style. I haven’t been drunk or started eating non invasive. I didn’t even have a beverage after the struggle, if I’m so honest. We just enjoyed our time together with our loved ones. It had been fine to have a conversation and actually catch up having a few people.

“I’m looking forward to 2019 today and I wish to get that which I actually deserve. I want to receive all the fights I’Id wanted. I want to be in those big, competitive fights. I’m anticipating getting the unification fights next season and keep building from there. ”

Edwards has been already connected to a unification battle against Moruti Mthalane, that uttered the IBF crown against Masahiro Sakamoto on New Year’s Eve.
