Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said it’d be”mad” to your club’s fans never to be enjoying their nine-point lead in the Premier League – but played his side’s title chances.

“Should we drop three points, you [the media] will be the first to say that we’re nervous. We can’t play that match and we wont do it.
“In the present time it’s really a marathon which we’re running.
“When you’re running a marathon with brand new trainers and also a brand new shirt, everyone around you says it’s excellent however, you’re the one who must run. That is the situation.”
Klopp said his players were alert to Spurs’ defeat before they kicked off Arsenal but said his side were”completely focused” in the fixture.
“I did not find a smile on some other faces at the dressing room,” he explained.
“Today it isn’t about creating headlines, however about playing football matches as well as possible and picking up more points, which we’ll try and do as best we can.
