The Miami Dolphins triggered their fighting offense before half Sunday by pulling out their variant of this Philly Special setting-up a Kenny Stills-to-Ryan Tannehill touchdown.

Tannehill handed off the ball to Kenyan Drake, that conducted to the left side of this field and pitched into Stills. The veteran receiver, running back toward the right found Tannehill open in the apartment near the end zone. Tannehill made a diving grab and slipped to the endzone.

It had been Tannehill’s career NFL reception and original touchdown. It’s also notable that Tannehill played receiver in Texas A&M before finishing his college career for a quarterback.

Three Dolphins receivers (Albert Wilson, Danny Amendola, Stills)’ve thrown a touchdown pass this season, many in NFL history. Every other team has already established two receivers throw a touchdown this season.

Two plays later, Dolphins safety Reshad Jones had a pick-six off Josh Allen to tie the game at 14 14 heading to half time.
