Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier have had a contentious relationship, to say the very least. Cormier being made to relinquish the UFC light heavyweight tournament that Jones never lost in the Octagon therefore that Jones could struggle for it at UFC 232 didn’t even help to quell the situation.

Jones continued to dismantle alexandergustafsson from the UFC 232 primary event on Saturday night, returning the light heavy weight strap into his shoulders. Jon Jones clearly said his feelings of Daniel Cormier having the buckle in light-heavyweight, “DC needs to admit to the individuals who he was never the light heavy weight champion or face me light heavyweight… the only way he could shut up me is always to beat my bum. ”
