Arsenal manager Unai Emery has eliminated a move for Real Madrid goal keeper Keylor Navas in the January transfer window.

When asked when Arsenal were curious in Navas, 32, Emery said:”Not true.”

The Spaniard added he was”pleased” with Arsenal’s three firstteam goalkeepers Leno, Cech and Emiliano Martinez.

“We have never talked about Keylor Navas,” he explained.

Cech, 3-6, is likely to begin when Arsenal face League One side Blackpool at the FA Cup third round on Saturday.

The Czech started this summer as Arsenal’s No.1 earlier suffering a hamstring injury against Watford in September that watched him substituted by Leno, who united from Bayer Leverkusen for a reported 22m euros (£20m) at June.

Leno, 26, moved on to produce 1-5 premierleague looks this season, but has maintained only one fresh sheet.
