Pakistan all rounder Faheem Ashraf will combine Northants Steelbacks for your of this summer’s T 20 Blast.

The 24-year-old, who’s played at international level in all 3 formats, averages 16.31 together with the violin in T20 and contains obtained 49 wickets.

He is set to get his introduction on 19 July against Durham, subject to clearance.

“Faheem is an established white-ball cricketer with the selection and lively bowling skills demanded in twenty-20,” head coach David Ripley said.

Ashraf, a right-arm seamer who bats left-handed, has played 2 3 T 20 internationals for Pakistan since making his debut 2017.

He even made his Test debut against Ireland at Malahide last May.
