The 22-year-old is ensured a Minumum of One outing in a Ford Fiesta WRC within a comprehensive programme with all the MSport Ford World Rally Team.
As well as a very first taste of top notch competition, Greensmith will tackle 10 rounds of the new WRC 2 Guru Championship as a member of this MSport Ford team. Joining him at the group will be driver Lukasz Pieniazek who gets an identical programme in a Ford Fiesta R 5.
Greensmith has four years of WRC experience and handled two seasons in two wheel drive Fiestas before stepping up to the R5 model and WRC two in 2017.
He expects to build his 2018 list of four WRC two podiums by procuring a maiden category victory and demonstrating his own potential in the World Rally Car.
“The highlight of the year will be Rally de Portugal, and it’s really a fantasy come true to be making my WRC debut”
Pieniazek joins MSport after two years in WRC 2, of late at the wheel of a Skoda Fabia. His best result so far is second place.
Greensmith will start his 2019 effort at the growing season opening Rallye montecarlo while Pieniazek is likely to make his debut at the second around in Sweden.
