To say 2019 is a new year for NASCAR veteran Jimmie Johnson can be a understatement. For the first time since he entered the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series in 2001 he’ll also have a new sponsor and new pioneer on the hole box.
Friday morning, Johnson unveiled his new paint plot in newyork with Ally in the renowned No. 48 Chevrolet.
“This is a fantastic beginning with Ally, and we wanted a car that hauled that delight to our fans,” Johnson reported today after hammering the new car on Good Morning America. “indefinitely, I’t put a lot of time in on this paint scheme that will help we develop the new look.
Johnson’s new team chief will soon be Kevin Meendering. Johnson includes seven NASCAR names — equaled only by legends Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt — that include five in a row in 2006 to 2010.
